Oera Cosmetics

OERA is a premium skincare brand founded by The Handsome Group (Hyundai Department Store Group) in Korea. During its early launch phase, the brand worked with an overseas product agency, creating a complex collaboration structure between the Korean parent company and international partners.

I contributed at this initial stage by supporting communication and alignment between the Korean team and the U.S.-based agency, translating brand intent, product direction, and execution requirements across cultural and organizational boundaries. In parallel, I designed the brand’s website structure, shaping its initial digital presence and translating OERA’s positioning into a clear information architecture, visual language, and user experience.

Product Development

Product development of Oera lines involved an iterative process of feedback, refinement, and validation, particularly in the creation of 3D objects used across the digital experience.

Website Development

(Final UI outcome created with Designfever)

The site prioritizes brand storytelling and context before product discovery.
I defined the information architecture to guide users from brand philosophy to product understanding, rather than leading with commerce-driven navigation.

This direction was intentionally set to support OERA’s role as a brand launch platform rather than a transactional site. As a luxury skincare brand, OERA required users to first understand its philosophy, technology, and point of view before discovering individual products. A brand-first, narrative-driven structure allowed the website to build context and trust, guiding users naturally toward product understanding without relying on commerce-led navigation.
