I’m Sue Lee

or as I like to frame my approach, Sue-ly [‘sue-lēe] : designing in a way that feels authentic, purposeful, and human. My philosophy is rooted in human-centered design, with a strong focus on identifying real problems and crafting solutions that genuinely work in people’s lives, not just on screens.

Currently, I’m the Senior Product Designer at Orchid, where I’ve led the design of an AI-powered EHR platform used by mental health professionals across the U.S. Over the past years, I’ve built out the ecosystem end to end: from telehealth and billing to AI note-taking and group practice tools.

Previously, I designed interactive retail experiences at Estée Lauder Companies(HQ) – bridging UI/UX with hardware innovation from touch-screen kiosks to immersive in-store displays. I also collaborated with The Hyundai – Handsome on skincare projects, and gained mobile product experience at early-stage startups.

With 7+ years of experience spanning startups and global enterprises, and a background born in Indonesia, raised in Korea, and educated at SVA in New York, I bring a distinctly global perspective to my work—bridging cultures, disciplines, and teams to design products that truly resonate.
